Statistical Investigation

For math my workshop did a statistical investigation. We had to gather some data and make some sort of chart on google sheets, and had to make an infographic about it. We needed to have a title, a screenshot of the data, our chart, and 2 statements on how we understand and analysed our data. Here is my infographic and my chart and data.

Natalie's writing task.

Welcome to the wondrous world of Natalie! Today I will be your tour guide, yes, the one and only Natalie is your tour guide through the wondrous world of Natalie! Lucky, huh? Today I explain/show what I did for writing! Do you have your ticket? Thank you -- carry on to the line below, please. (Watch your head!)⬇

The writing goal for this week was to:

use visual language features to engage the audience.

And the task was to:
You will be creating a static image about Matariki that uses visual and verbal features to convey an idea.
And yes, my hub is learning about Matariki. 😁
For this task I used Google Drawings, which is the same digital tool I use whenever I need to make poster or something. Thank you for visiting the wondrous world of Natalie! You are now going to be the first(not true) people to see my work. Enjoy! 😁

Natalie's reading task.

Hey there! Welcome to my blog! Today I will explain/show you what I did for reading!

The reading goal for this week was to:
Retell a story and Summarise a text.
And the task was to:
Retell a story about Matariki using any digital tool.
And yes, my hub is learning about Matariki. 😁
Since we were able to use any digital tool I used Google Slides. The teachers put a link to stories we could retell, I chose The Little Kiwi's Matariki. Here is my work embedded onto my blog. Enjoy. 😁

term 2 week 8; reading

The goal/task for this week was to learn how to write a proper email. I have made a google slide presentation saying what you should put in an email. I have also added a tiny metaphor into the slide -- Here is the presentation, you just have to click the slide to start it.

Question: Have you ever sent an email?

term 2 week 8; math

This week for numeracy I made a screencastify! I made the screencastify about how to round decimals to the nearest whole number! If you don't know what a decimal is then here is an example of one -> 124.9 or 312.3,  it doesn't have to be that exact pattern of numbers though.  Here is the link to the screencastify (there's no sound).

Question: Are you able to answer these decimals?
1. 573.8=?
2. 962.1=?
3. 76.4=?
4. 111.1=?
5. 6969.14623=?

Can you do it?
(:
