Museum Trip

On Tuesday the 17 of September the year 5 and 6 went to the Museum. First we saw the Patupaiarehe which are people that use weapons and tools from green stone and he only feared one thing and it was sandstone because sandstone was the only thing that could cut through him one day they were chasing each other then eventually stopped the man made out of green stone curled up in a rock and slept in the morning he got woken up by the sound of someone walking in the ocean he thought it was kirikiri but he looked and it was a woman and he immediately fell in love with her so he kidnapped her when her husband found out that his wife was missing so he got his spear and threw it up in the air and it pointed itself to where she was freezing cold and depressed and begged him to take her back to her husband he swam to a river and left her in the cold and tried to hunt down her husband. So he swam back to the woman and thought of a plan. There's more but I think it will be a bit boring. Next we saw other tools the olden day Maori used, then we went to: 'The Playground' It's where you try out what the olden Maori used to use tools. Then we lunch, played in a gigantic tree and had some free time in the museum. Then we left! The end.

Ferrymead Trip 

On Wednesday my hub went to ferrymead park, when we arrived the bus this man called Robert greeted us, told us the rules and after that we had to change into old school clothing and do all these cool and old school activities. We also got to watch this movie about cooking and school in the olden days.

It was a great day.

And let me explain what it is, Top Team has all these very fun activities, for example, there were these two water activities that got me soaked. The rest was okay and a little too hard too explain, so I drew these (My top three)

This protest is getting out of hand! Tonnes and tons of people are unemployed and irritated, sure, I may not be there to see this horrific protest but it is still making me frustrated! Please give back our jobs and let there be no more protests!

Dear Madam Mary,

I don’t know how much longer I can take this. I’m getting sick of this! Blood splattering everywhere, I can barely sleep, the other soldiers stink like a skunk. Lice, ticks, and another redundant animals are roaming around; everywhere I step I get memories of fallen or injured soldiers. Yes, I am truly honored to have this opportunity to fight for my country but this is a little more than I can handle.

PBL - Idea Generator

This term for PBL me and my group are doing an Idea Generator. But that wasn’t our first idea, our first idea was a ‘shield spoon’. We were a bit stuck VERY stuck on ideas, after that (We decided to not do that idea). And to be honest I thought the Generator was for stories, but it was for making things. 

Winter Sport - Crows, B team

Winter Sport Blog

Winter Sport is about versing other schools in the chosen sport you chose. For example I chose soccer or football as you may call it. I wasn’t around the first few games because I was on vacation. Anyway, I think I improved on the first couple games, I always preferred myself as an indoor kinda person but never a sporty one.. So when I realized I had to choose a sport I was definitely caught off guard. My team: The Crows lost basically all our games but at least we won 2 games. I'm a 'B' team.

I’m better at stealing the ball then getting through the other team with it, I wouldn’t call myself ‘Christiano Rolando’ good either. The last few games I played, the ball went into the brook (Yes. We played near a brook.) And I wasn’t so much help getting it out. I enjoyed playing Winter Sports.
